My

5.
Can
you list my site under more than one category?
Generally
not, although we often provide additional
links where a site covers topics applicable to
additional categories at our discretion. Of
course we bend the rules for paying
advertisers. top
|
|
6.
How
often do you re-index a site?
We
don't index sites like the larger search
engines. What is indexed, is the description
that we assign, along with appropriate
keywords based on our review of the site by
real humans who love to ski in their spare
time. Sites are revisited regularly, to
ensure the site is still around. Occasional
revisits by our staff may result in updates to
the index entry. top

|
7.
How
much traffic can I expect from my listing?
That
depends on a number of factors; The interest
in the category page your site is listed on,
the description and keywords we assign, the
placement on the page (sites listed at the top
receive much more traffic). Bottom line: a few
per month to more than 1000 visits per month.
The average site should receive about 70
visits a month via Australian SnowzonE.
The top 5% should receive at least 200 visits
a month. top

10.
Why
isn't my Australian SnowzonE resort listed?
Many
ski areas do not yet have a web site. We can
only index what is available. On occasions we
simply may have not found a site yet, or it is
in our database, but not yet reviewed. Many
sites are not well promoted by their webmasters,
and finding them often takes additional time. We
currently index over 100
resorts at last count. top

11.
I
can't connect to a site listed on Australian
SnowzonE. Why?
Due
to the nature of the Internet, sites may
occasionally be unavailable. This often happens
due to network outages, servers down for
maintenance, removed pages, overloaded ISP's,
DNS problems, or domains disabled due to unpaid
fees. Try it again later and perhaps the site
will be available. We monitors sites monthly, so
we are automatically notified of problem sites
as well as dead links. top

I

equipment.

something on the net. Other queries may well go
unanswered... sorry. If you have a question Ask
Dr. Snow, he may be able to help or one
of our many Australian SnowzonE regulars may
know the answer. top
